Anyone who has tried to learn a foreign
language is aware that we can understand
better if the speaker speaks:
- Slowly
- Loud enough
to hear clearly
- In a quiet environment
without a lot of background noise
- Relatively close
to us
Fast speech, soft
speech, noisy environments and distance
can DISTORT speech and make the signal unclear
for any listener.
Obviously, we can't
always control everything in our environment,
but you will communicate better if you're
mindful of the above suggestions.

We also sell and
service Audina, Widex, Rexton, Maico/Bernafon,
Qualitone, and Telex hearing aids. In
fact, the only hearing aids we will not
sell are Beltone or Miracle Ear because
they are franchises, or require that those
who sell their aids sell only their aids.
- We will often use the original
manufacturer if a hearing aid needs
repair. However, we will also use
Starkey All make repair, or Prarie
Labs, because they will repair most
aids at a very resonable cost.
- Hearing Aide is also a
member of the Sonus Network and
offer the Sonus Solution service
package
Services
- Otoscopy,
visualization of the ear canal,
and wax removal if possible. (Some
wax plugs needed to be medically
managed by a physician.)

testing including hearing
tests, tympanograms and real ear measurement
